FAQs

What should I wear/bring?

The temperature on the water is always cooler than it is on land and can change fast if it becomes breezy or cloudy.  Wear what feels comfortable to wear on land the day of your trip and also bring along a jacket, sweatshirt, or raincoat (which works great as a windbreaker) and waterproof shoes or sandals.  We also recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, food, and drinks.

What if I get seasick?

If you feel you may get seasick be sure to take a product like Dramamine as directed before the trip.  If you get seasick while aboard we have Dramamine for sale aboard the boat.

Is alcohol allowed on the boat?

Anyone over the age of 21 may consume beer or wine while aboard the boat.  Hard alcohol is not allowed.

Do I need a Maine fishing license?

No, you do not need a Maine fishing license for the species we fish.

Do you have a restroom aboard the boat?

No, this is a real working lobster boat so we do not have a restroom.  We have a bucket with a toilet seat located down below the wheelhouse for privacy.
